Gosau Valley is part of the beautiful Austrian lake district - Salzkammergut – an excellent area for water pleasure. Directly in front of the door you can enjoy our heated swimming pool.

The Lake Gosau offers a bath in crystal clear water with drinking water quality. The water temperature reaches in to 20 °. A few hours at one of the beautiful natural beaches or electric boating on this idyllic lake will be an unforgettable holiday experience.
The indoor swimming pool in Gosau is a good choice for rainy weather.
Facilities: Sports pool with massage jets, sauna, steam bath and solarium.

Sauna: Daily from 16.00 until 20.30 o’clock - Wednesday - women's sauna
Beautiful Salzkammergut lakes invite for a day trip.

Hallstatt: Distance 14 km – length of the trip – about 15 minutes
Swimming in clear mountain water (temperatures up to 23 °) and a look at the beautiful scenery of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt.

Ausseerland: Distance to the lakes around 30-40 km
Altausseer See: A beauty patch of particularly picturesque landscape. Large parts of the lake shore are unspoilt and thus freely accessible - a rarity nowadays.
Grundlsee: with its length of 6 km and a width of 1 km, the largest lake in Styria - 14 km natural shores.
If you are already there, you could make a side trip to the legendary Toplitzsee, where the very popular Archduke Johann of Austria met his “Nannerl” – a postmaster’s daughter and the love of his life – for the first time in 1819.
After initial resistance by the Imperial and Royal House of Habsburg, he was finally allowed to marry her in 1923.
Attersee - Distance about 60 km (length of the trip – 1 hour)
A wonderful bathing lake with ideal sailing and surfing conditions and at the same time a famous diving paradise.

Traunsee: Distance: 43 km to Ebensee and 58 km to Gmunden (length of the trip – about one hour). Already the Old Romans have been fascinated by this lake and named it “lacus felix” – happy lake. Its water temperature is seldom higher than 20°.
From the enchanting city of Gmunden (best known from the TV series "Schlosshotel Orth" and for its ceramics), you can make a little trip to the Laudachsee - From the mountain station of the “Grünberg” cable car you walk about one hour on forest roads and wood paths to this wonderful mountain lake to be found at an altitude of 890 meter.
Langbathseen – near Ebensee in the nature protection area at the foot of the “Höllengebirge”. Enjoy bathing fun in crystal clear water.
Offensee: Distance 40 km - length of the trip approximately 50 minutes
Unspoilt and shallow banks offer a wonderful chance for swimming close to nature with children.
Wolfgangsee: Distance about 50 km - length of the trip - a weak hour
Famous by the legendary "White Horse Inn" and with a temperature of 24 ° C one of the warmest lakes in the Salzkammergut region.
Fuschlsee: Distance 56 km - length of the trip about one hour
One of the cleanest lakes in Austria.

The “Mondseeland” with its two lakes is located in the northern part of the Salzkammergut.
Mondsee: Distance 60 km – length of the trip – a little bit more than one hour
Zeller/Irrsee: Distance 70 km – length of the trip - a bit more than one hour. The water temperature of this lake reaches pleasing 27°.
