The Sommerhof has been family-owned since 1958. Over the years, the small farm “Stoffengut” step by step turned into a four-star hotel, whose amenities and ambience will hardly leave a wish unfulfilled.


The wonderful location right at the foot of the Dachstein is just one of the assets that contribute to an unforgettable holiday experience. The high valley of Gosau with its wonderful landscape belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt - Dachstein / Salzkammergut. Here you will run across a wide choice of holiday offers that meets a variety of desires and needs. No matter whether you come alone, in pairs or with your small or large family (including grandma and grandpa) – in our house you are sure to find exactly what you are looking for.

 

 

In the summer you'll enjoy wonderful walks, numerous sports and leisure facilities and places of interest. In winter, you have direct access to the attractive ski resort "Dachstein West: you go in street shoes just two minutes to our heated ski room directly at the valley station of the Hornspitz cablecar.
